Artist Comment: In this painting, I was going after improvements in this simple style of sky, architecture, figures, and fabrics. I solved my problems with long flowing robes by obscuring them behind a short wall, and a lectern of sorts. Of course, I was also trying to paint meaningful works with positive messages and strong inspiring women.
