Artist Comment: I am really happy with this composition, particularly with how the darks are simplified by joining them together, and with the energy of the figures. I would like to more consistently paint beautiful, classical figures and faces. I'm not sure whether the individual character of each face and expression is an asset or a distraction. From here, I tried to turn faces away from the viewer more.
