Artist Comment: My goal with this painting was to simply paint a composition of sky, architecture, figures, and fabrics. Four things are all I need to do right. It was a good exercise. This was my first painting with cypress trees in the sky, and probably not the last. As usual I was not that satisfied with the figures and fabrics.
